Jens, Good luck! Is this an annual requirement in Denmark? Let us know how you do. BTW, is it spring there yet? I think the last time we heard from you the snow had just begun. Broke the hydraulic pipe to the clutch.. Used a couple of hours to pull it. Had to use pipewrench to get the connectors out - so rusty that a brake-pipe-wrench couldnt be used. And then it was stuck above the gastank - GAAAAAAAAA - had to drop the gastank a few cm to get it out. Went to my local garage, had them make me a new copperpipe, remounted it. 2. Had a friend help me with some rust. were nice job. 3. My exhaust have cracked - just beside the waterpump/thermostat. Since I am nowhere near a CO2-welder, I have fixed it with a bearcan (/Heineken/), wirestraps, and exhaust-paste. Just hope that it will stick til after the "syn" (TÜV, roadworth-test, whatever you call it). 4. Been sanding the rear wheelarches, and fixing them up with fiberglassputty. Good enough for the "Syn", but again, need to buy proper spareparts, and visit my friend with the CO2.
5. Are using water - but cant find the leak - not too god. But please, cross your fingers when I mondag at 10 (Danish time, GMT -1) drive to the "Synsmand"..................... Happy driVWing Jens Jakob
