Just a note about the cost of the parts. A SD709 compressor (the kind you have) is about $350 new. A complete set of hoses (using the old connectors) is about $300 with a new compressor, you would need a new reciever /dryer- $65. These are the appox. prices from our a/c savior, BD.I think that price is high. A compressor replacement is about $1200 if somebody else does it right.Your price is double, and the hoses are not that hard to replace.
