On my way back from Moab last night, my tach would go to only 3800, no
higher, haltingly, drop to normal idle when the engine went there, but
again, haltingly. It does slowly rise when I slowly push the acc. pedal but
it just is not working "normally". Presuming this is an electrical problem?
.... maybe just a tach going south.


Any feedback appreciated. It's a 7K tach out of a Jetta and has been working
nicely for 4 years.
