Consider adding a "manual" power over-ride - just a toggle switch - so that YOU choose when the windows are getting their power when the ignition switch is off. Just a consideration. Maybe in the future there would be a problem with the window motors, or the wiring, and you don't want to find out by having a dead battery.... I keep shutting off the motor with the windows down, then have to at least turn the key back on to raise them. This is really a pain when camping, as I usually hide the keys, so I have to get them back out to move the windows. Anyway, I'm thinking of putting the windows on an unswitched circuit, so I can raise and lower them any time, key or not. Any thoughts? Anyone want to tell me what a bad idea this is? Raymond |
