Thanks, everyone.
I'm not too worried about an English-as-a-second-language speaker not
not having a good eye for grammatical and spelling errors on his site.
As a Web developer myself, I think whoever built the site should be
fined, but that's another issue...
I didn't notice that "seats 7" comment on the old site...wow. Here's
another funny screw up from the old site, first pointed out in this
thread by Jeff Oxroad in September, 2005:
http://westfalia-enterprises.com/pop18.htm
Check out the mirrors - anything look...ummm....wrong here? Oh what
the heck, I never could keep my left and right straight anyhow.
I think it's interesting that every other van you can see in that
photo set is missing grills. It's like they're being processed as a
batch job. Which is fine if the restoration continues to the
mechanical parts (assuming the mirrors guy doesn't do the work), but
if it stops with the cosmetics, that's a problem.
There are a few prices (on the new www.westfalia-enterprises.com site
if not http://westfalia-enterprises.com): For instance the 2nd
featured van, the blue diesel, is $15,000. Kevin conceded the A/C for
that van is a misprint. Ahem. He said it does have a new clutch and
tranny. I'll leave the HP mockery to the rest of you. $9,950 for the
'88 Midnight Blue Carat, $18,950 for the '88 Red Camper. I wish
mileage info was listed.
The old name was Sports & Import, LTD.
Plenty of reasons to be skeptical. Without finding a few people who
actually bought from this dealer, I can't see any reason to pursue any
of these vans.
