I've used my 84 Westy as a disaster response communication and family
service intake "office" on several occasions.  With a minimal amount of
effort, I have set up a satellite link to enter cell phone systems as well
as to relay ground information to hovering National Guard helicopters acting
as relay links during mountain rescue and flooding operations.

For smaller operations, I've invited families into the vehicle (even if it
gets crowded) where I could interview them to ascertain and authorize needed
services.

Very soon, now, I will be driving home a 91 which I'll convert into a mobile
primary care home visiting mobile transport vehicle.  I'll drive and
transport my physician wife and equipment like spirometer, ECG, and simple
lab testing supplies and my wife will conduct in-home visits .... This is a
test to determine efficacy, and we are sort of excited about the
opportunity.
