Anyone heard of a 944 turbo motor being installed into a Vanagon? Got me thinking, while replacing my headgasket...That is a problem the 944 turbo guys have often...I have a complete low mileage Turbo motor sitting in my shop, that I got to put into a 944 chassis I own. But the chassis has a non-stock body, making the whole install kinda a break even deal when I finished it...so I have been ignoring that lump of plastic wrapped metal under my workbench, and I can't even SEE the car from here, it being out behind my hay shed... Certainly would be a powerful Van...And the blowing headgaskets is usually a result of race guys turning the boost too high to pass a 928, or something..hee hee. Don Hanson
