Consider adding a "manual" power over-ride - just a toggle switch - so that YOU choose when the windows are getting their power when the ignition switch is off. Just a consideration. Maybe in the future there would be a problem with the window motors, or the wiring, and you don't want to find out by having a dead battery....

at least turn the key back on to raise them. This is really a pain when

Anyway, I'm thinking of putting the windows on an unswitched circuit, so I
can raise and lower them any time, key or not.
