Consider adding a "manual" power over-ride - just a toggle switch - so that YOU choose when the windows are getting their power when the ignition switch is off. Just a consideration. Maybe in the future there would be a problem with the window motors, or the wiring, and you don't want to find out by having a dead battery....

The windows on my '87 Syncro make me crazy, not because there is anything wrong with them, but because this is the first vehicle I've had witrh power windows. I keep shutting off the motor with the windows down, then have to at least turn the key back on to raise them. This is really a pain when camping, as I usually hide the keys, so I have to get them back out to move the windows.

Anyway, I'm thinking of putting the windows on an unswitched circuit, so I can raise and lower them any time, key or not.

Any thoughts? Anyone want to tell me what a bad idea this is?

Raymond
