The trouble with Disneyland is that, while it was built in the middle of miles and miles of orange orchards back in the 50's, it is now surrounded by miles and miles of urban sprawl. You can find RV parks near Disneyland, but they are mostly serious parking lot style giant motorhome parking facilities. The best you'll do is probably Canyonland RV park (16 miles east of Disneyland), which at least has grass and trees, or better, Prado Regional Park a little north of there. <http://www.co.san-bernardino.ca.us/parks/prado.htm> <http://canyonrvpark.com/> As for avoiding populated areas, short of coming in by helicopter, there's no real way. Visiting Disneyland is a thoroughly urban experience. Worth it though, if you've never been.
