Interesting.

I just hung my trouble light (for heat. Moist outside) by a small area I painted with "Rust Check" (Crappy Tire product) Looks/smells same as Tremclad Primer.

The "small area" is underneath where the sliding door-stay-open latch attaches to body. It wasn't rusting, but paint had peeled. Regardless area isn't exposed to too much moisture so when topcoated, this should work.

I want to get a starter kit of POR-15 for any future stuff. Stuff like the slider door. There are cracks in the middle of the door exterior! Likely body filler. (another sign of accident repair to side of van) I'm hoping it's just surface rust underneath that cracked crap. :(
