You only had one?   A few months ago I was trying to figure out why
the u-haul guys couldn't get a decent trailer light connection.
Turns out I had a grand total of three different trailer light
harnesses installed, two of which had electronic boxes.   For some
strange reason, using more electronic boxes didn't seem to help :-)
