My catalytic converter sounds like a coffee can with a couple nuts
rattling around inside.  Is there a cheap man's solution to quieting it
up?  I once had an old Subaru with double walled exhaust that I ran a
sheet metal screw into to secure the inner pipe.  Would something
similar work here?  I just don't have the cash to buy a new one right
now.
