I use Saran wrap to put over can after pouring and cleaning the groove as good as possible, I then hammer the cap back on (tap). That way I am able to reopen can. The POR15 will harden anyways however after doing that maybe 10x from the moisture and air that entered the small can each time you open it. I also have good experience cleaning the brushes afterwards with regular Xylene, dip and swirl around in Xylene and then rinse with water. I use an old aluminum can, careful, it will melt any plastic container I think. Again, after 10x max they're done, too. Only caveat I have with POR 15 is that Bondo will not stick well to it, so on exterior, visible rust in the paint I would prefer to remove all rust, say you have a scratch or small dent that has rusted etc. use wire brush or fine 220 sandpaper. Off course that will have to be painted at some point.

Cheers
