Well, we really should be talking about A/C right about now :), and, this was just discussed recently, but, okay, here's my opinion, only my opinion, and it's biased, because I had a two-speed furnace previously. It's noisy. But it's better than freezing my butt off, and in that, my old black lab will concur, because he sleeps right in front of it. Well, not too close. Most of the people I talked to before getting mine said it was tolerable. When it is closed up in whatever compartment you put it in, it's not too bad.
