Ditto on the Monroe shocks. Harsh, bumpy ride-very Flinstone like, almost like riding in my Western Flyer wagon down a gravel road as a kid. I am thinking about Koni for my next choice-needed or not. Does anyone know about Bilstein as a choice? Seems as though I saw a set at some point and like everything Bilstein they were very pricey. Any thoughts or opinions on this subject? How about some feedback on the air bags for the rear mentioned on Vanagon.com recommended upgrades? How do they hold up? Apologies in advance if this post ends up with a thread like tires or oil.
