In Europe many of the Westfalia campers have the bottle inside the van, under the sink standing. I think, it was not acceptable to have it the same way for the US market and possible that you may not have it that way either. That label can have lots of rust under and often the reason why one has to get a new one. The build up of rust makes the metal real thin under the label.
