For anyone interested, I have a pair of Hella XL lights for sale, along
with an extra pair of clear lens covers. I'm asking $100, which includes
shipping anywhere in the continental U.S. Please e-mail if you're
interested. Thanks.

Ben,
If you have an '85 and earlier van, get the e-code lights. I put them
on my '84 Hershey and I'm extremely satisfied. If you have an '86 or
newer van, I can recommend from experience Hella XL driving lights
which I used on my '85 Camel with good results.
I like e-code headlights better, especially since I'm using higher
wattage bulbs and relays.
Check out Daniel Stern lighting for lots of good advice on lighting.

I'm NO gadget guy... so i'm having trouble finding a web-source (a
good one)
for fog light/day ligh/driving light. I'm looking for VERY thin (not
deep) 5
or 6in round light, as i know nothing about all those (fog VS night
driving
VS dayligh) i'm seeking help!
What i want is simple!
Additional light for night driving! Like when it's to dark on a small
road,
you hit the switch and BANG, so i guess i want something equilvalent to
high
beam. Now, i hate the look of square for light on bumper... not for me!
As i'm to poor to buy the S. African one (and i'm nor even shure it's
GOOD),
i want a similar look (yea, i'm getting esthetic, i now officially hate
myself for that!!! Men, i miss my olf rusted 73 brown Bus!), i have an
idea
to built 2 support/brakets just beside my main light, same height, but
more
inside, over the grill, so the new light will be in front of the stock
grill (how the heck do you write "grille, grill, grid???), so they the
to be
shallow (not deep) but big enough and round!!!!! i would say about 2.5in
deep at most!
So, i'm a clear or like always my English doesn't make sense :-)
Anyone have seen that kind of light?
Ben
ps.: i have NO choice to stay in the "Esthetic world" with my Red van,
dargn, some one slap me out of that mood....
