Subject: RE-INSTALLING 90 WESTY EVAPORATOR
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

I am replacing/recharging my a/c after approx. 6 years of being without a/c in my 90 Westfalia. An a/c shop gave me an estimate of $1200.00-$1400.00 to replace problem components 6 yrs. ago and I could not afford that price at the time. I was of course left with everything completely disassembled. Now everything is replaced and I am at the final step before charging of re-installing the rear cabinet that holds the evaporator and fans. I am wondering if anyone knows any tricks to reinstalling all of the components in this cabinet to get it too fit back into place correctly. Everything is really tight and I don't want to have to take down the gutter tray and shroud with the vents if possible. It will also be a challenge to get the hoses connected to the drip tray and then route the wiring to the fans/ballasts around everything so it fits together. I have searched the archives but did not find any tips on re-installing this. Any help that anyone can offer would be greatly appreciated. I spent hours on this last night and am losing patience with this project. Thanks to all.
