with bilsteins, there is one important thing to know. There are Bilstein Touring shocks for the vanagon, have them in, they are... aehhh.... not great at all. I am just ripping them out to put in bilstein HD which is supposed to be great. Cheapest source is either a guy on ebay (4 for 289$), or aj-usa.com or eshocks.com
