>>. Have many people pulled out the fridge/stove/sink and re-worked the seat/bed so they have something more like a weekender? What are the results like? Ugly? Same as factory? Or? Would this remodeling be offensive to Westy purists? Thanks for the input, <<

If you took out the camping gear and left it at the end of the curb for the trash guys, that could be considered offensive. ;)

If you took out all the camping gear (sans the rear cabinet) you'll have a space to the right of the rear seat. It would probably be best to put in a weekender rear seat. You'll also have that side panel there with all the cutouts for the camping gear. Pretty ugly. Basically you would want the interior from a Weekender but that puts us back were we started. Maybe someone out there wants to swap. :)

I'm just rambling here. The weekenders do appear for sale more often then you think. Unless you are in a real hurry then I would wait to get a real one before converting a full Westy.
