Subject: 85 westy brake or wheel bearing noise

Half way through our trip from Fl to Montana and we have a scraping noise(metal to metal that speeds up and slows with the van speed) coming from our left rear wheel. The weird thing is that it only does it while turning left or driving across a slanted parking lot and the van is leaning to the left (driver is on the down hill side). Just had new tires put on but no other work has been done recently. We pulled into Branson Missouri to wait till Mon. to put the van up on a lift. Any ideas out there? Thanks, Bob
