i agree :<) and those are the qualifications i look for when i go down to the local used rubber joint and buy a new (used) set of shoes :<) at $15 a pop, it wont break your wallet. i once found a set of michelin MX's down there with $75% tread!

$500+ for a new set of tires? hahahaha...no way..

they get all their tires in from junkyards.. they come off low mileage wrecks, etc..its easy to find a matching set w/ good tread.

recycling saves you money and also saves space in the rainforests for all you tree huggers!!
