Oh, you are indeed a brave soul restarting the dreaded tire thread...

I do want to say that I thought you did a great job outlining the issues for tires - its nice to see facts rather than just annectdotal testemonial. (e.g. I've run load index 20 tires on my van for tweny years and never had a problem...)


One thing I would be interested in hearing is from people with 15" alloys on their Vanagons - what tire do you run?
I'm also interested in people who run BFG TA tires on 15" rims and what their experiences are.
