Okay. Yeah, I'm thinking maybe the plastic coupler is deforming under the pressure of the clamp. The plastic coupler is just what I had with me (one of those emergency hose repair kits).

In the meantime, should I bleed the system again since I lost some coolant and adjusted the clamps? I'm thinking I can do this solo by wedging the throttle open, while topping off/bleeding.

The tank is empty (at least no more propane flows). So, I should just open the bleeder to let out the remaining air pressure?

It sounds easy enough. I will check RV/propane shops in Flagstaff. Another listee gave me a link to a place he used.
