Hi Rob,

If the tires you have are still working then I would suggest you keep
running them and work on saving so that you do have $400 to replace
them when the time comes.

You will notice an improvement in handling (crosswind lane changes
and understeer are much reduced) when you run a 2-ply sidewall.
