I'm trying to install a pass. swivel seat unit I purchased years ago on-line and have ?'s.

  The unit I purchased supposedly came from a full camper Westy, it's the
  entire swivel unit - both the base and the seat tracks.  The swivel base is
  integral to both these parts: a round grove between the two parts. You push down
  on a small level (goes in a front factory grove just for this) to make seat swivel.

  If I place unit atop my existing passenger seat tracks, that's redundant (2 seat tracks) and
  puts seats 1 inch too high I'm afraid.  Do I cut out my existing tracks so that
  I end up w/ only one; if so, that's hard to accomplish!

  Is there an easier way to install this unit?

  I'll take a photo next time and email such to the group?
