After the recent rate hike it is completely changed at USPS for mailing small packages to international destinations. There is something called First Calss International. It provides indemnity coverage to certain amount. Way cheaper than UPS. I have mailed 2k - 3k USPS priority mail boxes within USA in 2 years. I lost only one. The secret is to purchase postage (shipping label) online and include a free delivery confirmation. When USPS tracking said it was delivered there was never a challenge from any recipient. The only lost was one that did not include a delivery confirmation service. David
