I'm just beginning to delve into the WBX/Sube conversion and one of the issues I have found seems to be how far down that Subaru engine sump hangs. I know that there have been some replacements welded up from sheet metal, but does that really increase the ground clearance?? Has it ever been considered - and is it even possible - that a dry sump system might be installed in place of the wet sump? The uneducated but curious would like to know.
