I drove a 5speed wagen (240) that had an aftermarket turbo, ported head, cam, etc..... They told me it was kickin near 300hp.

WOW. I guess this would be the experience of driving an SVX syncro (Vanagon Content), because having driven a normal 240 (automatic) and climbing into this thing......i was simply blown away.

Today i drove by a house that had to have 10 volvo wagens (and a sedan or two) in various states of decay in their lawn. It was amazing. I assume this is Chris's volvo counterpart on the western side of PA.

I truely respect volvos as good cars, regardless of what people say. I think they dominate many of the newer VW's and Audis when comparable (Audi Wagen priced the same......)
