I drove a 5speed wagen (240) that had an aftermarket turbo, ported head, cam, etc..... They told me it was kickin near 300hp. WOW. I guess this would be the experience of driving an SVX syncro (Vanagon Content), because having driven a normal 240 (automatic) and climbing into this thing......i was simply blown away. Today i drove by a house that had to have 10 volvo wagens (and a sedan or two) in various states of decay in their lawn. It was amazing. I assume this is Chris's volvo counterpart on the western side of PA. I truely respect volvos as good cars, regardless of what people say. I think they dominate many of the newer VW's and Audis when comparable (Audi Wagen priced the same......) -Craig '85GL On 5/19/07, Gary Lee www.vwrack.com <gary2a@telus.net> wrote: > >i did it.. i just bought my first (NVC) car... straying from the > >marque... > > >its still friday somewhere in the world, so heres some NVC.. > >i just bought a volvo 850R wagon.... 250hp hauler... 20valve 5cyl hi > >pressure turbo..one fast grocery getter.. > >any other volvo owners out there? > > Chris, > > This has absolutely no vanagon content, but anyway... > > I have a 1995 850 turbo wagon 5 speed.
