Actually the best picture was in the Globe and Mail, but for some reason they didn't include it on their website. It shows the vanagon after the fire, as a burnt-out shell. Wasserboxer. All the right details were there, with kids climbing all over it. Burnt-out VW buses become jungle gyms. It reminds me of my neighbor with the Land Rover - they were the company suppling the apartheid SA government with their military vehicles. The ones the army used to drive troops into the townships with. I can't see that shiny black 'rover without thinking of the newspaper scenes.
