My 3 year old was in hysterics when they took it away.




At least for a 3 year old, that's understandable. I'm dealing right now
with a 14 year old who is hysterical over me selling a '75 Westy. I bought
my Vanagon Westy  last September, and when I got it running, I knew that I
would have to make a decision which one to keep, the '84 Vanagon or the '75
Bay. For many reasons (comfort,space,safety, etc) I decided to keep the
Vanagon and sell the bay. I put it on eBay Sunday, and when I told my
daughter she freaked out. Now both my wife and daughter have not spoken to
me in 2 days-over a VW bus. Unbelievable.
