I always try to go to a woman at the parts counter-they just seem to more interested in giving me the part I need, and willing to find out something if they don't know it. Knowing what I'm doing and what I need seems to stimulate some competitive urge in some parts men-where they end up wanting to appear more knowledgeable than me. When I go with their superior knowledge about my needs, I usually have to return parts to exchange for the correct ones.
