Maybe the fronts were done and you forgot? If not, maybe the rear calipers are hanging up or someone drove without fully releasing the hand brake. Also, have you noticed the size difference in the pads? If normal wear, what type of maintenance is being performed that the pads could wear to metal over 80k miles and not be noticed 6 months to a year ago?
