Hi everyone,

I don't know if anyone remembers this thread about a month ago. I had a vibration coming from my left rear axle on my 1984 Westy Automatic. I took the van to a shop and they told me that both my rear wheel bearings needed to be replaced. Reportedly, when they disassembled the axle, the bearings fell out in their hands. So the wheel bearings did the trick. Nice and smooth now. Thanks for everyone's advice. I ended up taking my van to Stephan's Auto Haus in Sacramento. It was a great experience and I would recommend them to other vanagon owners.

Thanks again, Blake Heinlein http://blakeheinlein.googlepages.com/
