Subject: Electrical Help nEEDED - 90' Carat
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed

Well, there I go again thinking something should be easy.

I am putting a stereo back in the 90' I've figured out all that (with the help of my 7yr old son. Needed him to tell color blind dad what color the wires were). Anyhow, in the process I touched a hot wire to some metal by accident (Sparks) and blew the number three fuse. Changed that everything seems fine except I have no dash lights - none. Dome light works, radio works, I think the Lighter works - no dash lights - any ideas? I'd like to try to fix this before I close everything up.

Also, I have a red wire and a blue gray wire that were not connected to anything coming towards the radio opening from the drivers side. Bentley says blue grey is ground and the red is power - but for what? I have the same color wires on the passenger side that weren't connected but go to the cig lighter glow ring. Should these connect - they are the same color and gauge. Also, the glove box light was disconnected - where should those go to ground and power?

Any help with any of the above is greatly appreciated - leaving for Buses by the Beach in a few hours and would love to have working dash lights. Thanks in advance.

-- Thanks,
