A day later:  The aux battery still shows about 5 volts after being on a 2
amp charge all night.  The battery is still under warranty, so no biggie,
money-wise.  However, I now realize that no matter how I swivel the driver's
seat, a corner of the square seat plate will hit a battery terminal or some
other obstruction (I'm not sure what those 2 wing-nut thingies are
doing<http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i263/edtech2000/Westy/Westy_AuxBat-03.jpg>,)
since the battery sticks up out of its cavity!  Since I want to be able to
swivel the driver's seat without worrying about messing up the aux battery,
I guess I'll be looking for a new battery.

The main battery is still disconnected and showing 12 volts.  Back to the
drawing board...  I'll check out the type 91 battery from Interstate.
