Auto, 4 speed or Syncro? What are your goals? In my opinion, Ultimate performance with slight increase in diameter is 225/60-16, (26.5"). Standard load index in this size is 97 which was the factory 205/14 fitment. There are also extra load and reinforced tires available in this size. Matching spare will not fit in the tire carrier. 215/65-16 is a little taller, (27") and narrower. 98 load index. Can be made to fit in tire carrier with some effort. Dennis
