The Westy front seatbelts are too short. I need at least 10" increase. (So much for little sprouts) Yes, the belts are fully extended. Yes, the passenger seat is as far rearwards as it can go. That won't help this 5'2" driver; pilot seat must be forward to the front stop for me to reach the foot controls and shifter lever. Are there *safe* extensions for the belt, outboard anchor point, or receiver end of the buckles? Or where can I find longer belts? Later model vanagons or different VW model? (Cunegonde's an '83.5) The rear seat shoulder belt retrofit kit? Aftermarket? Were germans really that skinny in 1983? I weigh less than 140 and the seatbelt's too short?!
