I added some "Gasket Maker" to the lower thermostat housing (1.9 engine), buttoned everything back up (with a new thermostat and O ring), and torqued the bolts to 7nm (as the bently sudgested, though this seems very low). And yet, i have a very consistant drip of coolant from the lower thermostat housing in the area of one of the bolts. Does anyone have any sudgestions for a good way to stop this leak? I'm running out of options and patience. -Craig '85GL |
