You can usually find 3/8" female push-on terminals at the FLAPS. They may or may not have the little tab to hold them in place, though. They are a little too wide for the tabs on the headlamp, but work well enough if you're on the road - better than trying to mangle a standard 1/4" terminal to fit. Conduct-Tite (Dorman/Motormite) part number 638-258.

Most FLAPS sell a connector with all three 5/16" push-ons already installed, with about 6" of wire on them. The wire is pretty thin (16 or 18 gauge) but for a couple of inches that probably doesn't matter. You are supposed to cut off the old connector and use three butt splices to splice the new connector on. If only one of the terminals in your old connector is bad, you might be able to extract one of the terminals from the new connector and just splice one wire. Conduct-Tite (Dorman/ Motormite) part number 84597.

Almost all sealed-beam headlamps, and a few replaceable-bulb headlamps, use this same connector - three terminals on three sides of a square, |_| . Some sealed-beams only have two terminals, and some of them have three terminals with one at a 45 degree angle, /_| . If you're at the junkyard, it shouldn't be too hard to find a connector. Note that full- size pickup trucks and full-size vans tended to still have sealed beams after cars had switched to replaceable-bulb headlamps, so you might check the pickups and vans.
