Subject: Anchorage theft warning(LVC)
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

I know that there are other Anchorage, AK list members so I am posting this theft notice. There is a person(s) that is doing smash and grab thefts in the parking lot(s) used by customers of Bears Tooth Theater & Grill and neighboring businesses. At least two cars have been hit in the past three days including my GL Syncro in which I foolishly and uncharacteristically left a bag on the front seat. Eye witness description leads me to believe that the perpetrator is one of the homeless men that frequent the area The one upside to this happening is that now I have an excuse to park the GL while I replace the broken window, do some needed repairs, and swap over the interior from standard 7pass seating to jump seats and the flip up table. Vanagon content includes my Syncro and the fact that many local Vanagon owners are patrons of Bears Tooth. Mark in AK
