Comments: To: Camins Bretts <cunegonde.van.westfalia@GMAIL.COM>

Bretts, put some 20W50 in there...(higher level), if the van is not bleeded, put all temps levers (heat) to hot position, put coolant until the EX tank is full, play with the hoses, open rear bleeder (on big hose), start the van, raise RMP between 2000-3000 RPM. First, make sure the temps stays ok, when you sure it's bleeded and IF you still have lifter noise (because YOU have a lasy(S) lifter, believe me, crank/cam noise ARE WAY DIFFERENT and DON'T LAST FOR LONG!!!)

If the noise is still there, REV the engine at 3000-4000 RPM until that noise disappear, and IT WILL. lifter rarely go wrong, they get lasy but they RARELY go wrong.

Again, i did 2 water pump this week, 87 and an 84, i never raised the van, worse, i didn't even open the front rad bleeder.

Both van bleed fine.

Let us know... you won't break the engine, wasser maybe leaker

Ben
