Subject: Re: Snorkel Coincidence

When I posted, I thought this issue would get a lot of play as I have not seen this come up on the list (though I have not searched the archives.)It seems that this could be a 'sleeper' which could be robbing HP from a lot of list members. I had not thought to inspect the snorkel because I assumed the entire conduit was plastic; furthermore, I was surprised to find my 2wd had one. When I looked for a replacement in my boneyard, my 87 2wd had one too (these are both recent acquisitions..)Out of curiosity, did all 2wd vans include a snorkel. If not, when did they start? In any case, my Syncros will have these inspected this weekend. Thanks. Miguel........imprisoned in Durango, Co.
