Well, we need to do a per capita thing. How many people in the Port Huron, MI, area? In what is called San Diego's coastal "North County" there are 354,264 peoples. (Oceanside: 177,119, Carlsbad: 95,651, Encinitas: 53,744, Solana Beach: 13,756, Del Mar: 13,994). This is only the communities that actually "touch" the coast. Crowded right behind them are places like Vista and San Marcos.
