In the course of some very poor running engine conditions on the holiday
weekend, I discovered that AutoZone *stocks* a fuel filter that fits the
Vanagon (2.1L) perfectly. It's Chinese and it's not cheap but it works in a
pinch. I was pleasantly surprised to find a chain FLAPS that carries it.
