I may call Stephans if I am seriously considering it. Thanks for the info.

More than 10 years ago I tried it on my BMW 2002, 1970 model. Almost every garage I went to get work done gave me some info about how to deal with smog/DMV. Well, at the end I ended up donating it to charity and got a tax write off. Tried to get smog test half a dozen times and unsuccessful. Os course I did not do it right because I did not get accurate information about how to do it right.

Frankly that experience has kept me away from thinking about another attempt to get a coversion. Have looked up DMV web site with no success to find any useful information whatsoever.
