Westbound on I-80 east of Reno I saw a pretty burgundy Westfalia with South African grill, also saw a second burgundy Westfalia westbound but with a faded top. Saw what might have been the same one eastbound on I-80 yesterday just in the foothills east of Sacramento.

I also saw a beautiful blue Syncro Westfalia in Auburn yesterday when I was getting gas at a Shell station - might have been Stefan's but I know he had it tore up to fix the tranny - perhaps it's back together now as it looked just like his.

Attended Run-A-Mucca motorcycle rally in Winnemucca, NV so I wasn't in our Vanagon when I made these sightings, instead riding the motorcycle over there. It was fun, weather was good.

Donna, 1987 Syncro
