Hi all.

Forgive me, for it has been a long time since my last post .......

And my sin?

Leaving the stove on lowest setting during a nature call this morning.

What I found out?

With stove on lowest setting, and a pot full of coffee set to side of flame to keep warm, the flame will blow out after shutting sliding door. I tried it once again to test. I had suspected this was the cause of the flame blowing out on my Westy's stove as it had happened a few times before.

So be forwarned:

A. If you're not in or near van, I would advise NOT leaving your stove on.

(common sense yes, but it's tempting to do what I did. Even for a short "trip". I will do this no more!)

B. If you slam the sliding door shut, the flame MAY blow out when at minimum setting.

Cheers,

Neil.
