I need to empty the tank -- and not just run out while camping* -- so I
can change out the auto fill valve for a simple manual one. I'd rather
not just dump it for clean air reasons. I've called my local propane
guys and they don't know how to do it. Probably aren't interested in
taking back gasoline from folks' tanks, either.


*If we ran out of propane while camping, Mrs Squirrel would not be
happy. Let's just say that if looks could kill, I'd be leaving in a basket.
